WE ARE A NEXT GENERATION HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION
Our approach and methodology is rooted in a core activity – the full-stack education programme. With these programmes, we offer an interactive and experiential learning experience: multidisciplinary teams help our learners apply and practice their new skills within a business context. When you study with us you can be sure that our programmes are in line with the latest developments in digital technology – developing optimum capability to devise innovative solutions. All programmes are digital-related.
We do not use a traditional classroom approach. Instead, we focus on domain mastery – giving you the knowledge you need in the workplace and advanced software skills – and leadership mastery – giving you the skills you need to work in teams and communicate effectively. All our degree programmes share the following cornerstones:
LEARNER COMMUNITY
Online learning does not have to be lonely. You are part of a community of learners who meet during weekly workshops, action learning sets, and mentorship sessions. Our graduates are welcome to join future cohorts as facilitators or mentors.
COMPETENCY-BASED
All our programmes are designed around core competencies identified by experts in the field. Not only technical, but also leadership and interpersonal skills that employers are looking for. Develop your job-ready skills to help you land your dream job.
FLEXIBILITY
You have 24/7 access to top-notch digital content, so that you can pace your learning according to your own needs. In addition to the course materials, you can use our rich e-library to get a deeper immersion, get your work done or discover new topics.
MENTORSHIP
You are paired with a mentor who is a leading industry expert. Your mentor helps you with your learning and provides you guidance as you enter the job market for your new career.
Learners can consult their mentors during their office hours on curricular and career topics whenever they need .
ACTION LEARNING
We believe that everyone is a learner and educator at the same time. During action learning sets, your cohort breaks out in small groups to work on real-world priorities – putting your interpersonal and leadership skills into practice and identifying actions to support each other.
TALENT ACCELERATOR
As early as six months into the programme, we connect our talent with partner employers and recruiters in the Amsterdam metropolitean area with organizations such as the Amsterdam Corporate Network and Techconnect. We accelerate your job mobility with our talent accelerator.

As the European Capital of Innovation, one of the leading skill cities of the world and with a special focus on data science and AI, Amsterdam is looking for highly skilled talent. This is why we have chosen Amsterdam as our main learning hub. Here, we provide innovative learning experiences in the middle of Europe’s growing talent demand.
We are a partner of the Amsterdam Economic Board and an active member of its Corporate Network Council allowing us to connect our students with potential employers in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. Through out networks, we are connected to over 80 leading companies in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area looking for global digital talent.
RECOGNITION AND ACCREDITATION
Amsterdam Tech is internationally accredited by Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC) which is an independent body providing accreditation services for independent, further, and higher education colleges.
Amsterdam Tech offers credits and degrees (180 ECTS) through a validation partnership with European Leadership University which operates with the approval of the Ministry of Culture and Education and the Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation and Coordination Council in Nicosia, Northern Cyprus.. While awarded degrees are internationally recognised and accredited as a European degree, they do not lead to a local Dutch degree based on the Dutch Higher Education and Scientific Research Act (WHW).
Amsterdam Tech is officially registered at CRKBO (Centraal Register Kort Beroepsonderwijs). The CRKBO (Dutch “Centraal Register Kort Beroepsonderwijs”) is the Central Register for Short Vocational Education.
Amsterdam Tech Is recognised as an EU Research Institution with Research Sponsorship Status according to Directive (EU) 2016/801.
