For the Master in Data Science, students are expected to come to Amsterdam for a short visit of around 10 days. During this visit, you will complete your leadership practicum and interested students can join the Talent Meetup to connect with recruiters in the Dutch market.

For the Bachelor programmes, there is no required visit to Amsterdam. Students may be invited to a Talent Meetup in the 2nd or 3rd year of their programme.

The total duration of our undergraduate programmes is 3 years. The duration of our graduate programmes is 16-18 months.

All courses are taught in English (and some Python! 😉)

For a detailed overview of the curriculum please visit your respective programme and scroll down to the Curriculum overview on our Programmes page.

We do not require internships for the completion of the programme, but students do have to complete a Final Project before graduating. The programmes follow a 2 + 1 model: You receive two certifications and a Degree Diploma (B.Sc. or M.Sc.). After the two certificates, you are expected to apply your learning in a Final Project.

Amsterdam Tech supports placement opportunities through its Talent Accelerator. The Accelerator gives nominated learners the chance to work with a career coach, join meet-ups in Amsterdam, and connect in other ways with selected organizations and companies in the Netherlands. Amsterdam Tech does not guarantee the placement of its learners.

No, you don’t! While an IT background helps during your studies, it is not a requirement. We believe that anyone with the right motivation and discipline is able to learn a new skill and transition to a new field.
