Course Facilitator / Associate Faculty - Software Engineering - Amsterdam Tech

As Amsterdam Tech we are looking for Course Facilitators for our Bachelor in Software Engineering programme.

As an ELU course facilitator, you will meet groups of students and facilitate their learning experience through online workshops to help them master software engineering skills. You will host weekly workshops for selected modules and work in close collaboration with ELU’s Programme Manager to align the workshops and assignments with our learning outcomes. You will also provide constructive and timely written feedback to the participant’s assignments and projects.

The role is a great opportunity for experts in software development and engineering who have a desire to keep their skills sharp by developing others and would like to be part of a unique educational approach and a thriving community of talents, facilitators, mentors and sector leaders. 

This is a part-time and fully remote role.

Enablers:

  • Master’s degree required, Doctorate degree preferred
  • Professional experience as a Software Engineer or in similar role
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Ruby, Javascript, C++ and Python
  • Previous training or mentorship experience 
  • Experience with Git/GitHub
  • Good working knowledge of statistics and mathematical concepts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent command of English
